While in demand as a leading regional trainer in the Pacific Northwest, I have presented nationally, from New York to California, as well as internationally at Beijing University.
Trainings on crisis de-escalation have been enthusiastically received throughout many Multnomah County departments, as well as the City of Portland Bureau of Emergency Management.
I’ve also offered trainings and presentations to numerous organizations, including Oregon Bar Association, Portland Art Museum, Los Angeles Police Department, Oregon Psychiatric Association, UCLA, Portland Community College, Portland State University, Oregon CEU Consortium, American Group Psychotherapy Association, Cowlitz County Health and Human Services, Portland Police Bureau, Clackamas County Behavioral Health Division, and Portland Adventist Medical Center.
Participants have come from a broad range of perspectives, including medical professionals, undomiciled people, clergy, corrections officers, and mental health clinicians. I consult with the contracting entity beforehand to ensure that trainings are customized to the audience.
Training possibilities range from one hour to all day. They are consistently praised for being informative and entertaining.
